Sim & Mack was born to represent the very best of Australia, the diversity of its people and the beauty of the world’s only island continent. We are proudly Australian made and family owned, and committed to sustainable business practices, including the use of natural fibres and recycled packaging.
Founder Andrew McKenna, a 5th generation Australian married to a 3rd generation Singaporean, Simran Sidhu, wanted to create a clothing label for contemporary Australia, from the oldest indigenous culture in the world through to its vibrant mix of migrant cultures.
The development of Sim & Mack started in 2021 via chance introductions to two Adelaide based fashion designers. From these initial conversations, McKenna, beginning without a fashion background, embarked on a plan to realise a long-held dream. With valued support from several others who backed his vision for a new generation Australian made label, McKenna produced Sim & Mack’s inaugural range of active lifestyle wear for release in 2023.
As a small family business, Sim & Mack wants to grow with our customers into a viable alternative to corporate fashion houses. Along the way, we plan to achieve even more with respect to sustainability and traceability as they continue to grow in importance to our collective future.
